Aimee and Harrison’s wedding day was one of those days that felt full of energy right from the very beginning. I started the morning with the boys, where the excitement was already building — a mix of nerves, laughter, and the kind of chaos that comes with getting ready together. There’s something really special about having the groomsmen help with those final moments, adjusting jackets and making sure everything feels just right before the day begins.

From there, it was over to the girls, where things shifted into a softer, more emotional pace. The details, the dress, those quiet in-between moments while everything comes together — all leading into one of the most meaningful parts of the morning. The first look with Aimee’s dad, followed by her bridesmaids, was filled with so much love and emotion, the kind of moments that stay with you long after the day is over.

Their ceremony took place at the Glasshouse in Auckland, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun streamed in through the glass ceiling, filling the space with light and warmth as they said their vows, surrounded by the people who matter most.

Afterwards, we headed to the Auckland Domain for portraits — starting beneath the pillars of the museum with the full bridal party, before wandering further into the trees for something quieter. Just Aimee and Harrison, where I could make sure they had the space to soak in the fact that they were finally married.

Returning to the Glasshouse for the reception felt like stepping into something completely transformed. The space had shifted into a warm, intimate setting, with tables arranged in a U-shape and filled with florals and candlelight — the perfect way to bring everyone together for the evening ahead.
